Reliable POCT With
Quality Control
Point-of-Care Testing (POCT) is growing rapidly due to its ability to deliver quick results at the patient’s bedside, enabling faster decisions and better outcomes. However, maintaining accuracy is essential, making quality control critical. JTC provides cost-effective, reliable bulk controls to support global IVD supply chains.
The Rise Of POCT: Balancing Convenience With Quality Control
In recent years, Point-of-Care Testing (POCT) has gained significant popularity due to its many advantages. One of its key benefits is the ability to obtain rapid results at the patient’s bedside, enabling immediate clinical action and potentially improving patient outcomes. However, the effectiveness of POCT depends on the accuracy and reliability of the diagnostic data generated, making quality control essential to ensuring consistent and trustworthy performance. JTC specializes in the production of tailored bulk controls, offering a cost-effective and consistent solution for IVD manufacturers and supply chains worldwide.

Benefits
High Commutability By Human Serum/Blood Matrix
Excellent Analyte Stability
Time points represent the weeks after manufacturing. Recommended shelf life is 12
weeks for blood based POCT CRP and POCT Glucose controls. Each sample at every time point was measured three times.
Accelerated stability of each production lot is evaluated after incubation at 37 °C for one week and compared
with reference samples stored at +2–8 °C. Triplicate measurements are performed for each condition,
and a change of less than 20% between conditions is expected.
Excellent Vial-To-Vial Homogeneity
Each production lot undergoes homogeneity testing by selecting random vials after filling, in accordance with ISO 13528. After statistical evaluation,
batches are released using total allowable error limits for CRP and glucose
as defined in the Rilibäk guideline.
Minimal Lot-To-Lot Variation
Consistent target values are maintained across production lots, providing familiar results and ease of use for customers.
Clinically Relevant Levels
To assess assay performance in relation to the assay range and critical values
that hold importance for clinical decision making
Ready To Use Material Without Any Reconstitution Step
Tailor-made products
According to your requirements:
•Different filling volumes,
•Adjustable target values and levels
•Combination of single or multi analyte controls
